+ Some ideas for those who are struggling…
  1. Talk to a friend on the telephone, or better yet, get together with a friend.
  2. Do exercise, mindfully. Moderation is key- don’t push yourself too far.
  3. Go for a long walk somewhere peaceful.
  4. Watch the clouds.
  5. Do something for someone else. It can be something big or small.
  6. Get out of the house. You don’t need to do anything, just get out.
  7. Take a nap. (Don’t go overboard though.)
  8. Plan a dream vacation.
  9. Eat something mindfully. Chocolate works! Again, moderation is key.
  10. Cook your favourite meal for yourself and for others.
  11. Watch a funny or scary movie.
  12. Go shopping.
  13. Get a haircut.
  14. Watch people and try to imagine what they’re thinking.
  15. Paint your nails.
  16. Take a bubble bath.
  17. Read your favourite book.
  18. Write a poem about how you are feeling.
  19. Write in your diary/journal.
  20. Clean your room, organize, and redecorate.
